Cisco is a 24 year old Paint gelding, about 14.3 hands. He is in good health and is up-to-date on vaccinations, dental and hoof care. He has been barefoot his whole life. Cisco is rough boarded at Green Meadows Stables near Paoli, Wisconsin.

Cisco has been ridden once or twice a week for the last few years. He does fine with arena work: walk, trot, & canter. And he gets out for short trail rides when the weather permits. With regular trail riding and a capable rider he is pretty steady, even going out alone. A typical session with Cisco includes 20 to 30 minutes of walk and trot work in the arena, with some cantering and lateral work, then another 20 or 30 minutes of light trail riding.

Cisco is well trained and experienced with both arena work and trail riding. He is social and wants to please. He will make an excellent partner for a rider who is happy with relatively easy arena work and short trail rides. Like any horse, he is suitable for children or novice riders only if they are able to invest in regular lessons from an experienced horse trainer.

Cisco's owner is no longer able to devote the time to him that he deserves. She is hoping to find him a good home, where he can continue to receive excellent care and attention. She is also willing to consider a half-lease for the right person.
